What I've built

Context — a dictionary app that goes beyond definitions, designed to help people actually acquire vocabulary rather than just look it up.

ExploreFocus — an AI-powered tool for generating city imagery in the style of world-renowned artists. I used it to paint hundreds of cities and wrote about the process.

What I care about

AI and how it changes what's possible for small teams and solo makers. Language learning — I've thought a lot about how people learn Chinese and English, and why most approaches are broken. Design as a way of thinking, not just making things look nice. Independent software — building sustainable products without venture capital.
